Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant in the Scottish burgh of Dufftown in Moray in 1887. It’s known as the world’s most awarded single malt whisky. William Grant started his own distillery in 1887 with the help of his nine children & a stone mason. He named it as Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.
In 1923 William’s grandson Grant Gordon joined to their family business and luckily the industry increased whisky production.
